Dealing with Harmful Thoughts - Spiritual Growth Encouragement Series - Arnie Cole

https://youtu.be/Jvj0IRUjSYI Bible Verse: Romans 6:16 Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living. Reflect and Respond: This verse is so powerful! According to the scripture and even in my own life we see that if you think of evil things soon it will take over your entire being. How can you start moving closer to the things that are good for us? What evil things do you need to let go of today? Prayer: Father, please help me see the light that you shine on me daily. Help me take that light and show it to others that need to see you as much as I do. Amen. Did you find this video helpful? How can i start moving closer to the things that are good for me? And what things do i have to let go away? First of all Romans 6.16 encourages me to value the freedom that was given to me by Jesus' death. Now i really be free to take decisions to whom made me be free. I recognise that i'm not able to be in charge of my life because of that God is at my side. Everything that is against the true of God i must let it go away from my life.
The world is full of things that distract us from the Word. I'm working hard in my life to put scripture as a priority in my life. Thanks for the encouragement.
Boy, I needed that, thank you.
To obey Christ is the only way.
Your messages are so powerful, like a wake up call. We need to grow closer to Jesus and we need to do it daily.
Thank for this message today!
We have been crucified with Christ, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that from now on we should not serve sin. God gives us free will, we can choose life or death. If we choose to serve sin we will die. But if we choose obedience we will live. We have been given faith to believe, and if we truly believe we will live what we are.
