Bible Verse: Matthew 5:14-16
“You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.”

Who can you help, comfort, share peace with, listen to, today?
Prayer:
Father, You see the strife, the anger, the problems in the world, yet Your light shines through it all. So today I pray for Your peace to fill me and Your light to shine brightly through me. Help me to serve honorably without anger, for Your name's sake. Amen.

I am the product of a Republican father, and a Democratic mother. I am afraid that if those, who would claim to be my brothers and sisters in Christ, would unfairly attack me. How, God, can I overcome this?

Amen to God's Word!
My Lord, Your Word has been spoken. You declared that we are the light of the world; so help me to light the candle of my life in my corner so that one person can see the love of Jesus in me. Let me not be selfish and withhold Your life-giving breath from those who need to hear about You. Lord, use me for Your purposes. Amen.
Heavenly Father Thank You for being The Light that shines bright within us for all to see. For Father in all we do please remind us we do it with the Love of Jesus Christ. Remember Jesus Christ gave us His Peace something the world can never do. Thank God in Jesus name Amen
