Count On The Holy Spirit - Spiritual Growth Encouragement Series - Arnie Cole

https://youtu.be/-J-Yn_8sdLg Bible Verse: Ephesians 4:30 And do not bring sorrow to God’s Holy Spirit by the way you live. Remember, he has identified you as his own, guaranteeing that you will be saved on the day of redemption. Reflect and Respond: What has the Holy Spirit done for you according to Ephesians 4:30? What does He know about you? How does this motivate you to live today? Here's another way that the Holy Spirit helps you: Romans 8:26 Prayer: Father, thank you for the work of the Holy Spirit in my life. Help me to recognize and follow His promptings in my life today … and everyday. Thank you Arnie, for the encouragement this is what L need now at this moment, to be more like Christ of our daily life.
Thank you Jesus for sending your Holy Spirit. May I be attentive to His voice, and allow Him to guide my life.
I think I saw somewhere that it's Mon-Thurs
I thought we were supposed to get a new message every day..
I'm in awe daily in the way God uses His Spirit in me and others who are willing to sell out completely, Complete Surrender is where it is at. at least thats what is working for my life.
Good stuff brother....The Holy Spirit is the power and motivator of our souls....and the devil hates that ....when you have the God of this universe backing you, nothing is going to stop Him in getting His message out !
What a powerful thought to remember the Holy Spirit has emotions!
Still small voice ! very similar to instinct or intuition or conscience but different .No condemnation he always has a verse in the Bible to back up his instruction and when I make mistakes (a lot)he encourages me to try again God is not angry with you he says get over it It’s the devil (accuser) who condemns discourages and hates repentance and offers no hope because he has NONE
Great reminder about our thought lives!
Looking back on my life, I can remember specific instances when I felt the Holy Spirit praying for me because I didn't have the words (Romans 8:26) or guiding me to keep quiet in a disagreement and let the Lord fight for me. Yet I don't often think about the Holy Spirit being with me constantly and knowing my thoughts. Definitely a scripture for me personally to memorize!
As I continue my journey with Jesus, I have become more aware of the Holy Spirit. Often times I feel a deep sorrow and I know it is the Holy Spirit grieving. My go to song to uplift my spirits is Spirit Lead Me
Always knowing I'm never really alone is a comforting/sobering thought.
I actually think a healthy amount of guilt is good. It turns us back to the Lord, we repent and we receive grace to get back on the right path. The Holy Spirit gives us power to live for the Lord.
This is a great reminder that the Holy Spirit, not only knows what our thoughts are, but also is there to help us make better decisions.
LOVE today's message and the scripture choice, especially Romans 8:26. I'm so grateful that I, personally, and all of us Christians have such a Helper sent directly from our Father (John 14:26)!!! Thanks, Arnie! these series are becoming my daily guiding light and turn my thinking away from guilt - just like you are saying - and into more positive and uplifting direction. I needed this.
Thank you for this. I grew up in a church that emphasized the gifts of the Holy Spirit, but not as much how the Holy Spirit could guide me each day to grow spiritually.
Love this, "...he has identified you as his own..." !! 😊
Do not bring sorrow or grieve the Holy Spirit by your actions. Simply put, don't sin because it hurts God. We were bought at a high price: Christ's death. Therefore, live out the fact that you are God's child. Such a good reminder! Thank you!
This is a different take on this verse than what you often hear. Refreshing.
God have mercy on me for I am a sinner x 100..
Arnie, I love how you talk to us as a fellow sinner, we all struggle with sin but to often we don't think of our pastors and ministers as fellow sinners, you are unpretentious and its refreshing, thanks again.
