Bible Verse: Luke 2:6-7
“And while they were there, the time came for her to give birth. And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.”
Reflect and Respond: God's own Son was born to us in the humblest of places. Yet He was provided with what was needed, and in turn Jesus provided us with what we needed most - salvation, restoration to God, hope of a certain and majestic future. What does this say to you in your circumstances today?
Prayer: Father, You sent Jesus at just the right time, to just the right place, to live a life and die a death that would impact each of us forever. Help me to realize the enormity of Your grace in the gift of Your Son. May my heart welcome Him this Christmas and always. Amen.

God i thank you for enormity in the gift of jesus christ and how his life begins with his blessings to us. I know that there is faith by praying daily to grow in knowledge of thy words and understing in our hart for our savior jesus christ. Amen.

Lord Jesus, You deserve to be born under the most hospitable of conditions, but You chose to come to us under the most humbling. Help us to learn the lesson of humility as we ponder the circumstances of Your birth in a lowly manger.
