Build Up Rather Than Tear Down - Spiritual Growth Encouragement Series - Arnie Cole

Bible Verses: Ephesians 4:32 - 5:2

"Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you. Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children. Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God."

Reflect and Respond:

How can you imitate God today and build others up for His sake?

Father, I want to walk in love today - as Christ did for me. Please open my eyes to how I might build others up and encourage them, for Your sake. I pray this in Jesus' name. Amen.

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ has forgiven you. Therefor be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and give himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. (ESV) This is the will of God for us to do.
