Between a Rock and a Dark Place - Spiritual Growth Encouragement Series

Bible Verse: Job 1:21-22

“He said, 'I came naked from my mother’s womb, and I will be naked when I leave. The LORD gave me what I had, and the LORD has taken it away. Praise the name of the LORD!' In all of this, Job did not sin by blaming God.”

John 1:5

“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”

Reflect and Respond:

God wants good for you today. He's keeping watch and He stands firm as the rock of your foundation, ready and able to hold you safe throughout the storms. Psalm 31:3-5.

Faithful God, I ask you to keep me and to lead me. I look to the light of Your Spirit to show me Your ways and reveal the path before me in Your time. Amen.

Everything that I have or have ever owned have come from Thee Lord Jesus, and You have the power to take it away from me for my good. Help me to be like Job so that in all that I encounter, I will not blame You falsely.

21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.

22 In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.

Remember that Jesus Promises remain True today we can never blame Jesus but instead Glorify Him in all things. Jesus is The Foundation we build on and The Solid Rock we stand on. Jesus told us His Light will always shine bright within us for he has overcome this world. For the dark will never comprehend The Light of Jesus that Shines through all darkness.

"The will of God will never take you to where the grace of God will not protect you."

The 7 Promises of God

I will be with you.

I will protect you.

I will be your strength.

I will answer you.

I will provide for you.

I will give you peace.

I will always love you.

My prayer for all of us is to remember Jesus is always with us His Promises remain True today and Eternally, Thank You Lord Great is Your Faithfulness in Jesus name Amen
