Reflect and Respond:

What are several simple things you can stop focusing on to keep you from being ruled by anger?

Lord, I pray for Your wisdom today to open my ears, curb my tongue, be self-controlled, and live in Your righteousness. Amen.

Praying for God to help you find the "don't"s that you can cut out of your life!
Ask God to control you instead through the Holy Spirit! The best way of doing that is to stay in The Word daily so it flows more naturally. Praying for you!
Judith, I'm praying for you.
I easily get angry. But afterwards, I feel sorry and ask for God’s forgiveness. I have a hard time controlling myself. What will I do? Need help. Thank you.
Been a rough part for me..Lord Jesus help me..
Thss was to great Judith. Time to get rid of a abusive husband
Do not let anger rule, but let peace of God rule your heart.
Right now I don't feel anger. I feel hurt instead. My husband signed POA papers for his sister. He is in a nursing facility near Chicago, Illinois. I live in Indianapolis, Indiana. Even before Covid 19, I could not visit him unless I had supervised visitation. With all the rioting and looting, it might be even longer. One good thing is that with my husband not living in the house, I won't need to worry about him strangling me.
Lots of anger going on these days. It's easy to feed on it. Thanks for the encouragement Mark.
It was helpful to me because I have been very angry lately.
