“A fool is quick-tempered, but a wise person stays calm when insulted."

Reflect and Respond:

Here are a few extra verses to contemplate today. Wear them as your body armor! Ephesians 4:26-31, Proverbs 15:1.

Prayer:

Father, I want to honor you. So, I ask that You would give me Your body armor - Your truth to help me stay calm under fire. Amen.

I read The Bait of Satan from John Bevere. It’s a great reminder that as Christians we are not to get offended. Now when I feel the offense, I don’t react. I ask the Lord to convict that person’s heart. Many times the person calls me and apologizes and tells me they were unfair, wrong and they were feeling so bad for what they did they had to call me. Thank you Lord for being my vindicator.

I pray for grace to be calm, turn the other cheek, say only those words that edify and lift up and to remember to bring Honor to Our Lord in all things. Thank you for your ministry.
