All I Need - Spiritual Growth Encouragement Series

Bible Verse: Proverbs 30:7-9
"Two things I ask of you, LORD do not refuse me before I die: Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread. Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say, ‘Who is the LORD?’ Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God."

Reflect and Respond: What are the 2 things the author of this proverb asks for? How has the Lord provided for you in the past? What might "daily bread" look like for you today?

Prayer: Father, You are the giver of all good things. Today I thank You for providing everything I have needed in the past and I put my trust in You for my needs today. May my life bring honor to Your name. Amen.

Lord Jesus, I place my trust in You and look to You to guide me in all of my ways. In that way I am totally dependent upon You, and look to You only to provide me with my daily need. Lord look upon me as I am in need of Your guiding hand.
