Bible Verses: Proverbs 30:7-9

"Two things I ask of you, LORD do not refuse me before I die: Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread. Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say, ‘Who is the LORD?’ Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God."

Reflect and Respond:

What are the 2 things the author of this proverb asks for? How has the Lord provided for you in the past? What might "daily bread" look like for you today?

Prayer:

Father, You are the giver of all good things. Today I thank You for providing everything I have needed in the past and I put my trust in You for my needs today. May my life bring honor to Your name. Amen.

I wish I had this in my life. I don't like to constantly be poor in more ways than one. God, please even this out in my life.
Thank you Lord for my daily provision.
Thank you for the encouraging word and such a beautiful video.
Amen
God is so awesome. I have been thinking about this verse today and planning to search for the portion for a post on social media and here it is as the encouragement for the day. I needed this lift today as my family struggle financially, my desire is to stay in God's will .
I have been there, many years ago the family needed something but GOD made away.
We need just to have our daily bread. We need to ask God to keep us from lying and away from liars. We get to much and we may not depend on God. We get little and we are tempted to steal.
What are the 2 things the author of this proverb asks for? To keep him from deception and to give him only what is sufficient for his needs each day. The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not lack. He provides me with my basic necessities which I cannot take for granted and so much more that I may share with others too. My "daily bread" is the sustaining word of life and wisdom I need each day to serve him joyfully, well and freely.
I thank God everyday for being a great provider! I have lived through times where my needs were much greater than what I had. I continued to trust in God, and He provided for all my needs! What a mighty God we serve!!
Amen
I am blessed by this video! It reminded me how God provides for all my needs in the good and bad times. His faithfulness always amazes me! Lord, thank You for being my Sufficiency/Provider. Great is Your love and faithfulness.
Thank you very much for this beautiful video. It helped me to understand that God will meet my needs. I am not perfect. I don’t have a problem with porn but other things in my life. I know whatever I go through God is there!
