This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.

Reflect and Respond: 
There are times when it's not easy to rejoice - this may be one of those times for you. To be clear, the command to rejoice doesn't mean you have to be happy. It's more about having an attitude of hope, and Christ's victory over sin, death, and the devil brings us ultimate hope! So, can you rejoice today? Prayer:
Father, I choose to rejoice today knowing that you have created this day and all the good things associated with it. Thank you for your love. Help me to know your presence and your peace in all things. Amen.
