Bible Verse: Psalm 34:18-19

“The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. The righteous person faces many troubles, but the LORD comes to the rescue each time."

Reflect and Respond:

Thoughts can be so destructive, especially when they make us feel alone, guilty, and helpless. Yet today the Lord calls to you saying He is close to the brokenhearted. He has a special place for you. He understands your spirit has been crushed. Yet He promises to deliver. This verse is for you. Today.

Prayer:

Father God, I place my life in Your hands trusting You to mend my heart, to restore my spirit, and to deliver me from my troubles. I do this believing that You are the way, the truth, and the life. Amen.
