Acts 3:17-19 “And now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did also your rulers. 18But what God foretold by the mouth of all the prophets, that his Christ would suffer, he thus fulfilled. 19Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out,“ When we do not trust and obey Jesus we are ignorant because Jesus loves us, made us, keeps us, and knows exactly what we need! What can be more stupid than not to obey with joy his teachings and the Holy Spirit when he prompts you through scripture. But u fortunately our heart tends toward doubt and unbelief, therefore ignorance is common. If only knowledge was needed to trust Jesus we might be able to obey, but it takes faith and that is a gift. Everyday we must pray for faith and repent when we don’t live through it. Jesus didn’t die for our salvation, he died for our daily ignorance. So praise him for his faithfulness to us even when we are not faithful to him. All glory to you Lord Jesus. Amen
