Acts 22:10-11 “And I said, ‘What shall I do, Lord?’ And the Lord said to me, ‘Rise, and go into Damascus, and there you will be told all that is appointed for you to do.’ 11And since I could not see because of the brightness of that light, I was led by the hand by those who were with me, and came into Damascus.” Paul was used by Jesus in a very special way by preaching the gospel to many areas of the world and writing letters that became a large part of the New Testament. We praise God for using Paul in the “appointed” way in which he did. Jesus had a specific plan for Paul and because Jesus is God it happened just the way he wanted. We should take great comfort in knowing that Jesus made us and has given us specific tasks that we are to do. We have been appointed to glorify Jesus in ways that he has planned for us. When we question what is happening in our life, or we think will happen, we need to trust Jesus and know he loves us and has called us to obey him in ways that we cannot comprehend. It may seem difficult at times but he will be with us and carry us when we can’t see the way. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Thank you Jesus. For your glory and our joy. Amen
