Acts 16:14-15 “One who heard us was a woman named Lydia, from the city of Thyatira, a seller of purple goods, who was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to pay attention to what was said by Paul. 15And after she was baptized, and her household as well, she urged us, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay.” And she prevailed upon us.“ Lydia was the first Christian in Europe and was used by God. God prepared her to hear from Paul about Jesus by opening her heart. She worshiped what she already knew about God and Jesus brought Paul to her show she would be told how Jesus saved her. As believers in Jesus we never stop learning more and more about Jesus since he is God and he has an infinite amount of wonder! Learning is a glorious gift that honors God and brings us joy if we realize that everything was made by God and for God then we learn anything we are learning about the Lord. We who hearts are open give Jesus all the glory and we receive all joy! Praise you Lord Jesus. Amen
