With 66 books, over 1,000 pages and more than 30,000 verses, the Bible is a large book by any standard. So, it’s at least a little understandable that not many people actually read it. But when you consider that the Bible is a letter from God Himself explaining how the world got to be how it is, and what He plans to do about it—well, why hasn’t everyone read it?
In this study we’re going to take you on a tour from the beginning to the end of the Bible. From, “In the beginning…” to, “The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all,” we’ll take a look at each of the 66 books of the Bible and find the most important treasures about Himself God reveals in His Word.
Along the way, we’ll take special care to point out the Scarlet Thread of Redemption. We’ll see that from the moment sin entered the world, God was preparing a plan of salvation. He was laying the foundation of forgiveness in Jesus. As we see this scarlet thread weave its way through the Bible, we’ll be reminded of God’s everlasting love for each of us.
