Day 2 - Thanksgiving

Since you have accepted Christ Jesus as Lord, live in union with him. Keep your roots deep in him, build your lives on him, and become stronger in your faith, as you were taught. And be filled with thanksgiving.

Pray: "It is wonderful to be grateful and to sing your praises, LORD Most High! It is wonderful each morning to tell about your love and at night to announce how faithful you are" (Psalm 92:1-2, CEV).

Reflect: How would you explain the process Paul describes as having "accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord"? How have you responded to the invitation to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord? What parts of your relationship with God cause you to be particularly grateful?

Respond: Gratitude often begins and lingers in a thoughtful look back. In what ways has God worked in your life for which you feel a lot of gratitude? Write a letter to God, putting your thankfulness into words.
