Day 12 - Thanksgiving

Let us be thankful, then, because we receive a kingdom that cannot be shaken. Let us be grateful and worship God in a way that will please him, with reverence and awe.

Pray: "It is wonderful to be grateful and to sing your praises, LORD Most High! It is wonderful each morning to tell about your love and at night to announce how faithful you are" (Psalm 92:1-2, CEV).

Reflect: What examples do you see of shakable worldly kingdoms? Why is the un-shakability of God's kingdom important? What practices do you maintain, or decisions you have made, based on the un-shakability of God's kingdom?

Respond: What would happen if you shifted your dependence more fully on God and let those other kingdoms take their course under God's care? To what degree are you willing to trust God with the details of your life?
