Chapter 1 - Did Jesus Rise from the Dead?

"There is a misconception around Christ's Resurrection. I believe most people think you either take a leap of faith and believe in it, or you ground yourself in rational thought and reject it. But that's not the case at all. The Resurrection is rooted in historical fact. It can be investigate. It can be debated. It can be challenged. And it can be believed based on the facts." (Life After Death p. 6)

Luke 24:1-12

1. What are the necessary ramifications if one concludes that Jesus did indeed rise from the dead?

2. Is the rejection of the Resurrection of Jesus primarily an intellectual problem or a spiritual problem? How does this inform our response to hose who deny the Resurrection of Jesus?

3. What does the Resurrection mean to you? In what way does the truth of the Resurrection give you hope in the circumstances you face today?

I lost an adopted member of the family on April 14 this year. He was mentally and emotionally challenged. He was accepted for who he is and was very much loved by everyone in our family. I could not remember a moment when someone asked him how was his relationship with Jesus. How will The Judge on the Bema Seat judge him?

I am a CF and my husband was called home by God recently so Life After Death has a new meaning for me. I know my husband is in Heaven with the Lord, with no more pain and suffering, and that I WILL see him again in the Glory of the Lord. Amen

If Jesus had not died, my sins would not be covered, by His blood I am saved. Had He not gone into the center of the earth , for my sake , on my own I would have to , because God raised Jesus to life on the third day, and He ascending into Heaven, I have the promise of Eternal life !!

I know that it is the Holy Spirit who works in the hearts of people to bring them to the understanding and acceptance that Jesus is God. I have tried without success to convince some people who are unbelievers and have realized that it is so important for me to keep on praying for them and loving them.

It’s so hard , when we love others, and want they to experience the love of God, when they don’t , I know and understand His power, and that God , and God alone saves. Ours is to pray, just as you said .🙏
