"Because the Bible tells me so." Do you remember that line from the song "Jesus Loves Me"? That phrase "because the Bible tells me so" used to carry weight in our culture.
Unfortunately, today, people are skeptical about the Bible. Even Christians doubt the reliability of God's Word.
As you saw in this video, the Bible is the most reliable book of antiquity.
Because of this, we can read 2 Timothy 3:16-17 with confidence.
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God[a] may be thoroughly equipped for every good work"(2 Timothy 3:16-17).
So let's start reading and applying God's Word -- the most reliable book in history.
Reflect: Read 2 Timothy 3:10-17. Why does Paul emphasize his character and suffering? What incentives are provided here to do this very tough work?
Respond: Since the Bible is central to Christian living, how will you build it into your life?
