I feel I'm closer to God now that I have been in years. While I was saved at 17, I was close then, but now being 73 I feel closer.
I am closer to the now, when I was saved, the cross draw me closer than I am now. I am thankful that Christ had made the substitute for me to have life more absurdly and I am free from sin. I am very thankful that Christ did this for me.
During the hardest times, when he gives me the peace that passes all understanding when I am crying out to him for help to get through situations, when I start to praise him through circumstances and he gives me hymns which I start singing and have the full realization he does live inside of me by the power of the Holy Spirit. This was such a powerful 30 plus minutes. I am still crying. God bless you many times over.
When in your Christian faith have you felt closest to God? Why?
