Pastor Nat, that was one of the most brilliant exegetical moves I have ever seen in regard to The Good Shepherd. The impact of what Jesus was saying and DOING was utterly clear, and mightily exposed the nakedness of the religious elite/leaders. Thereby we too are exposed, especially when the explanation of Ezekiel about what was happening in Israel is applied to the Pharisees and thereby those of us in the present moment.

Lord Jesus, You are my Leader, the Shepherd, who leads me in the path of fatness and uprightness, and for this I give You thanks. Lord, I listen and hear, and know and obey Your voice. For only You offer me protection and provision. Amen.
Thank you Lord that you you don’t abandon us but continue to provide for our salvation because of your unfathomable love for us and thank you Jesus for being our good sherperd.
