Jesus’ Return: Pretrib or Posttrib

Air Date: 7/19/22 - Trust God that He will fulfill what He has promised. It doesn’t matter if we get pulled out before the tribulation or after. Christ promised to come back and finish the job. We can trust Him in everything He has promised.

Some reasons to believe in the pre-tribulation return of Christ. Things I learned from the teaching of David Jeremiah. A good one to study with about Bible prophecy, and some things from my own thinking from what I've been taught. There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming. 2 Thes. 2:7-8. When the Holy Spirit is taken out of the way when Christians are raptured, then the antichrist will appear. We as Christians are looking for the return of Christ which can happen at any moment. (We are not looking for the coming of the antichrist). Jesus will return as a thief in the night. We will be surprised not expecting it. No one knows the day or hour of His return. Not even the angels in Heaven know when He will return. The trumpet of God can sound at any moment. Revelation 3:10 - Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth. Just some of the thoughts as to why I believe in the pre-tribulation return of Christ. :)

Would the pre-tribulation return/rapture also support or explain why Christ could return today? I remember Dr. Wiersbe teaching on this in his lesson "Be Ready" on 1 Thessalonians, and it made sense that Christ's return is likely pre-trib.

However, I agree with Pastor Nat, this isn't a salvation issue so we should live Christ-like lives each day.
