Thanks for the message.
I pray to the Father in the name of the Son (and I could go on to say in the power of the Spirit). So no, you're not wrong. It's also not wrong to pray to Jesus or the Spirit. All are God, yet different persons of the Trinity. It can be confusing, but as Sarah said, the Lord knows what is in our hearts!
Thank you
Thank you Jesus for saving me from my sins, and have personal relationship with you.
Praying for the same. The Lord takes no joy that anyone should perish. May God Bless our efforts Shalom
I have found that many folks use the Lord's Prayer as their "recipe", or "template" for prayer. It starts out as, "Our Father, who art in Heaven". But, remember that this prayer was given as an example of how to Pray prior to Jesus being crucified and ascending to Heaven. He was still walking on Earth. Once He ascended back to Heaven to sit at the right hand of God, I Believe that we can and should direct Prayers to Him. However, the Lord knows what is in our hearts. The most important thing is to Pray! And You Are! 😇 May I suggest that you ask the Holy Spirit to Guide you in your Prayers. He will direct you. I, also, was hung up on this same thing for a long time, as my Mother also taught me the same as yours. God will Bless you in your efforts. Shalom
Heavenly Father I Praise And Thank You for The Greatest Blessing of our "Spirit" out casing body of Jesus Christ The way, The Truth, The Life. For the ultimate sacrifice Jesus came to teach, heal, and give His life shedding His blood that we could be given back life only through Jesus Christ Our Savior,King, Creator. The creator of all The Universe. Father I Praise You and Thank You for it is only Your Presence that is our greatest weapon. Father please Bless those who Love You to know that Love begins and ends with Jesus Christ Our "One" True God. Jesus please remind us Your are The only Solid Foundation/Rock that we build and stand upon not to be shaken or moved. Lord I ask I Pray and surrender all to You in Jesus name Amen. 6 So he made haste and came down, and received Him joyfully. 7 But when they saw it, they all complained, saying, “He has gone to be a guest with a man who is a sinner.” 8 Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold.” 9 And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; 10 for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”
Thank you.
Yes it is wrong if you read your Holly Bible it is clear to always speak to Jesus! Without Jesus you can not know God at all! All Prayers should end in Jesus name I Pray Amen. Without Jesus again you can not know God nor The Holly Spirit which is Jesus. May God Bless You open your heart to know Jesus Christ first then fill You with Jesus Presence which is our Greatest Weapon. In Jesus name I Pray Amen PS. If you do not accept Jesus into your heart you will never see Gob. For Jesus is God! 1 Peter 2:24, KJV: "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes you were healed." ... By his wounds you are healed."
When I pray, I pray to God and knowing God and Jesus are one with the holy spirit but I rarely mention Jesus. Is this wrong? I have always been directed to pray to God by my Mother, from my earliest memory. My thoughts are toward God when I read scripture, it is God's word. I often wonder if I am failing a relationship with Jesus. You thoughts?
Thank you Jesus for your forgiveness. Amen
Amen to that!
Oh what a Savior. Amen
Jesus is more than a Savior; He is our Lord (of all)!
Yes, indeed Jesus is my Savior!!! I am building relationships to reach the lost and pray that they will choose to accept His gift of salvation.
I can't imagine living without believing in Jesus. He truly is our savior.
Thank you Jesus for saving me. I'm sorry I sin all the time. Forgive me. Amen
Thank you, Lord, for your sacrifice and my salvation. Amen.
Amen Amen God is good all the time. Thank you Jesus for being our savior
Amen, god is good all the time with every breath we take for our life's
