Lord Jesus, we want to be forgiven by You whenever we do wrong. But we are not as generous as You are whenever we have committed sin against the other person. Help us to be humble and obedient, confessing our wrong to the person, and by following Your example, turn away from our sin and turn to You for help.

Pastor Nat... obviously I feel like the only Catholic here who posts......

I have a strange feeling of "confession,". It's a sacrament in Catholism..... but I haven't been to (formal confession) in over 30 years...... I confess my sins to God.... and then talk with them about them......

I really am struggling with going to a "Catholic Confession". Part of me wants to go..... the other part doesn't.

I guess I'll leave it up to the Holy Spirit.. I guess I'm (saddened???)... that being and practicing Catholicism is SO different than anything here.....

I shouldn't complain. I LOVE MY CATHOLIC FAITH....... but sometimes I wonder where we fit into this discussion????

Pastor Nat I agree we must forgive Because when we do not it only hurts Jesus, us not the person we are upset with. Jesus said forgive us our debt and trespasses. In the last 15 years I have learned to turn the other cheek and forgive. I do not look to the passed because we are to live today in the moment not the past. Concession is a must or it weighs on our Souls and Spirit.
Thank You Pastor Nat today we see together hope it stays that way.
