Okay….so many have opinions about how best to “engage with the Bible.” Please describe ‘how to’ engage?

At the Center for Bible Engagement, we've determined to engage means to read, reflect, and respond. Reading is pretty straightforward. It's to take time to study it. Read it in one or more versions. Spend time with it. Then reflect. Sometimes I say "wrestle" with it. Dig deeper. Ask questions. Seek the meaning and principles. Then respond to it. Find out how to apply it for your life. That's a great way to engage in the Bible.

I've been guilty of checking the boxes too many times and want to focus on God's message for me as I read and study His Word.

Lord Jesus, I cannot rely on who I was yesterday to help me move into perfection today. Without You in me, I am no good today, tomorrow or forever. Come, live in me Lord, so that as I look intently into the mirror of Your Word, I see more and more of You coming through.

When we read God's Love story we as well study His words allowing us to live as He lives. Then to become more like our Savior Jesus Christ Amen.
