Confidence in the Trial

I’m depressed and struggling with the death of my father. Problems at my place of work and crippling insomnia seem to overwhelm me. Thank you for your encouraging message Pastor Nat 🙏🏽

Deb, I am so sorry. That is horrible. Depression, mourning, dysfunction at work, and insomnia sound overwhelming. I pray for perseverance, hope, and growth through the trials. Those passages like James 1 where we are reminded our trials are there for our maturing, can irritate me. But thankfully, when we lean into them, we grow faster and stronger. I encourage you to seek help as needed. Father, provide Deb help, peace, hope, and healing. Amen!

Thank God creator of all the universe Great is Your Faithfulness.

In our trials we must Trust in God knowing He will lead us through it victorious stronger learning to always look up not down! For every trial is a lesson to be learned which draws us closer to God. For every trial storm reminds us who can bring us through.

“We cannot truly love God if we do not love our fellow travelers on this mortal journey. … We are all spirit children of our Heavenly Father and, as such, are brothers and sisters. As we keep this truth in mind, loving all of God’s children will become easier.”

“For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe” (1 Timothy 4:10).

Romans 12:12 - Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer.

John 16:33 - These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world

Exodus 14:14 - The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace

Romans 5:3 - And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience.

Romans 8:18 - For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Father I still believe You are are The only Promise keeper Your Word will never fail my Heart Trust in You alone it is Your Word that brings that Peace all we Your children need in Jesus name Amen

Needed that message and am hanging on to God since I found out that 5 family members have COVID. Some are not believers. One is in hospital with COVID pneumonia. None of them live local to me, so I am trusting God to take care of them and that the Holy Spirit will speak to those hearts who need it.
