Thank you Pastor Nate, I really enjoyed listening, you said how I have known along its all about simple respect.
Judith, I can't imagine how much that must hurt. Praying that you feel and know the love of Christ! Amen!
I'm sorry, Pamela. It's disappointing when a spouse doesn't live up to God's expectations. We all struggle with this. Thanks for listening and sharing!
I think my husband loves his sister more than me. Since he is in a nursing facility in Northbrook, Illinois and his sister is his POA, I can only find out how he is doing by contacting her. His sister's husband is a retired attorney and they both live in Kenilworth, Illinois. I cannot even call him. Before Covid 19 came I could talk with the Social Worker, but I still couldn't find out any information. Praying that God opens a door so I can talk with him and our family can visit with him without needing supervised visitation.
My husband was not a true leader
I'm praying for that alongside you! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks Pastor Nat for today's encouragement. I had to share it with my husband. As he listens, I am praying that the Lord will reveal to him/me things that needs changing. We both want God to be first place in our lives. Struggles there are, but God is our Helper, He's guiding our steps.
I have too many favorites. It's like my kids. I love them all. But to answer the question...Here are my top 3: Les Miserables (Story of grace and redemption), Fiddler on the Roof (The display of an honest relationship with God), and Phantom of the Opera (Great music).
What's your favorite musical or play? Why?
