Lord Jesus, I put my trust in no one but in You. Strengthen my relationship together with my love for You , and teach me more of You so that I may have the security of everlasting life. Amen.

Thank you for this, but, still, if there is anything true of me it is that I am struggling with the assurance of my salvation. I am trying! But there are circumstances in my life that are huge that cause me to struggle with this. It can be very discouraging and even very scary. I know there are people who think they are saved but are not and will here depart from me I do not know you. How do I know for sure I am not one of those people? How can you help me? Idk. But, I ask for help in any way you might be able to help, and I ask for your prayers once again.

Ephesians 2:1-10 provide one of the greatest passages for this very topic. Verses 8-10 says, "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." It is a gift from God, Mary. Nothing we do can save ourselves or keep our salvation. It comes down to trusting in Jesus' sufficiency. If you've done this, you can be sure. Here is an episode of WtD that addresses this topic:
